Small excavator engine system inspection precaution
What should you pay attention to when using a small excavator? Let us learn it today. Check diesel engine speed/timing, check fuel injection drive pressure, check fuel system, small excavator, and other inspection "notes".
1 Check Diesel Engine Speed/Time On the diesel engine crank the diesel engine and observe the diesel engine speed.
2 Verify that the timing reference gear is installed correctly.
3 Check fuel injection drive pressure Check oil level.
4 Check the fuel injection pressure control valve seal.
5 Check the harness connected to the fuel injection pressure control valve for open and/or short circuit.
6 Use ET to perform a fuel injection drive pressure test.
1.Check Diesel Engine Speed/Time On the diesel engine crank the diesel engine and observe the diesel engine speed.
If ET or /MIM is displayed, check the speed/time sensor. When the roller rotates, the diesel engine speed signal may be abnormal.Once the ECM is able to calculate the diesel engine speed based on the signal, the small excavator will be replaced by the diesel engine speed. Check diesel engine speed/time sensor calibration.
2.Verify that the timing reference gear is installed correctly.
If the gears are reversed, the diesel engine will not start. Check for correct position between crankshaft and camshaft drive gear. Correctly locate and/or replace drive gear if necessary.
3.Check fuel injection drive pressure Check oil level.
If the diesel engine is to be repaired in the near future, there may be air present in the fuel injection drive pressure circuit. Allow the diesel engine to fully warm up and load the diesel engine to bleed air from the fuel injection pressure circuit. Compare the actual actuation pressure on the ET to the desired actuation pressure. If the difference between the two readings during the fault does not exceed MPa, the mass of the mini excavator means that the problem is not in the fuel injection pressure circuit.
4.Check the fuel injection pressure control valve seal.
Check the fuel injection pressure control valve seal.If the seal fails, replace the seal and repeat the steps.
5.Check the harness connected to the fuel injection pressure control valve for open and/or short circuit.
Measure the coil resistance of the fuel injection pressure control valve, it should be Ω; otherwise, replace the fuel injection drive pressure control valve.
6.Use ET to perform a fuel injection drive pressure test.
If the fuel injection drive pressure is low, the high-pressure oil line may leak. A Remove the plugs of the fuel injection pressure control valve and the injector connector. Use ET or diesel stop switch to stop fueling. Remove the valve mechanism cover. Check for injector joint drain and cross cylinder block seal leaks and crankshaft diesel.
